Rory Rawlings was the original technical architect and co-founder of Avalara (NYSE: AVLR), the billion-dollar SaaS platform that transformed sales-tax compliance for tens of thousands of businesses. He built the systems that let a small engineering team automate a problem the entire industry had accepted as manual, expensive, and error-prone.

After Avalara, Rory turned that same lens on residential real estate — an industry still running on a thirty-year-old information asymmetry: the seller's agent runs a CMA, the buyer's agent offers an opinion, and only one side has the data. He founded Meydomo to close that gap.

The foundation is data, not opinion: 11 million Florida parcels, every county, sourced from primary government records rather than scraped or licensed third-party feeds. On top of that foundation sits an appraisal-grade valuation engine and the AI agents — Ata IQ, Sofia — that automate the listing workflow end to end.
